Abseiling

Abseiling in the Blue Mountains is a great adrenalin adventure sport for all ages. Accommodation/adventure packages are a holiday to remember. Abseiling packages are available for Beginners, intermediate and advanced adventurers. Our most popular adventure is the super jump. If you want some excitement in your life, try this one! After a thorough morning of preparation on abseils up to 30 metres and a nutritious lunch, you’ll launch yourself over a 20 storey overhang. The views are fantastic, the adrenaline will be pumping through your body as you descend to the valley floor 60 metres below you. The walk back follows a beautiful fern lined gully.

Rock climbing

All Rock climbing adventures in the Blue Mountains, take in the breath taking views that the mountains are famous for. Let one of our expert blue mountains adventure guides take you into the world of the vertical. We cater for the nervous beginner through to the extreme adventurer. Our most popular rock climbing course is the Full-Day Rock Climbing Adventure.

This day is an extension of our half-day. After our tasty and healthy lunch, you’ll climb more rock, learning more about technique and the different types of moves required.

As with the half day, the emphasis is on fun and learning as you climb.

You can follow this day with our Two Day Rock Climbing, Private Instruction or Guided Climbs.

Another popular course is the Two-Day Rock Climbing;
This two-day course is designed for people who really want to get into rock climbing.

Whether you have some indoor climbing experience or none at all, this course teaches you how to be a confident seconder when going climbing with experienced friends.

You will learn about anchor selection and usage, methods for tying into the rope and anchors, belaying techniques and devices, gear selection, self-rescuing, guide book usage/route selection.

You will also learn climbing techniques for varying terrain such as slabs, cracks, walls and overhangs.

Canyoning

Blue Mountains canyoning adventures are second to none, water jumps swimming abseiling and even rock climbing are included in the adventures.

Our most popular adventure is Empress Canyon;
The day starts with a thorough introduction to equipment and technique, with plenty of time to ’learn the ropes’ on our 3-5 metre high practise slopes. At your leisure you continue with 15-30 metre abseils at our abseil Jump site. That’s about 10 storeys high. Do as many abseils as you want! The setting in beautiful bushland. A mere ten minute walk brings you to the start of the canyon. You wade into the creek that descends into the narrow slot-like canyon and within a few seconds you are jumping into a rock pool, the first of many jumps and swims! This canyon is an exciting affair with water jumps, exhilarating swims, waterslides and fantastic scenery.

The final abseil out of the canyon is one of the best waterfall abseils in the mountains - clip into the rope, step back and follow the 30 metre waterfall down to the deep rock pool below. This is not just a brilliant waterfall abseil but also a fantastic photo opportunity. The adventurous can finish the day with an exciting 4 metre water-jump.
